HedgehogWorld.com and Hamor Hollow on the Tony Danza Show!
HedgehogWorld.com will be represented on the Tony Danza Show on Tuesday, July 12th (check your local listings)! Be sure to set your TiVos, PVRs, DVRs, and VCRs to record the fun as Kelly Sosik-Hamor from HamorHollow.com presents a baby hedgehog to Landre Griffin, the winner of the 2005 Pillsbury Kids Bake it Fun contest!
8 year old Landre's Hedgehog Cake entry was chosen from 10 finalists and earned her a $25,000 grand prize! Landre's next surprise was a guest appearance on the Tony Danza show where she was given a baby hedgehog and travel cage setup donated by HamorHollow.com as well as a copy of The Hedgehog Primer donated by Stasi Kanyuck.
The Hedgehog Cake was inspired by Landre's interest in hedgehogs and the research she'd done on them over the past year. HamorHollow.com was contacted by Pillsbury Human Resources after discussing with Landre's parents the possibility of surprising her with a pet hedgehog on the air. Landre was given a mini lesson on hedgehog care after the taping and later read the Hedgehog Primer on the way home!
Stasi Kanyuck from Terrapin Hedgehogs and Sean Sosik-Hamor were also in attendance taking press photographs of Kelly, Landre, and Tony Danza both on the set and back stage! All photographs are available in the gallery.
