Gadget Says "Hello"

Gadget was awake and anxiously vying for my attention when I was feeding the hedgehogs tonight. She climbed a few of the bars of her Marchiro cage and stuck her nose through them. She was being extremely cute, so I picked her up and gave her some cuddles. Gadget is Decal's daughter from her previous litter; you may remember my post on Decal's routine from a few days ago. Gadget is old enough to have a litter, so I am going to be picking a mate for her soon. She's got an incredible personality, so I am sure her babies will be absolutely wonderful. She's a cinnacot uber pinto who carries chocolate,a range of cotty, and a variety of pinto markings. Maybe I'll breed her to Burlington since he carries snowflake and albino. It would be an interesting pairing with potential for a nice variety.

Zhang Xinyan, 35, decided that he wanted to "hug" the bear after he had drunk four draught beers. And unsurprisingly, panda Gu Gu was having none of it and lashed out at Zhang's leg. In drunken anger, Zhang then bit the panda's leg, whose fur was said to be too thick to bite properly. After he was ejected by zoo staff and taken to hospital for treatment, Zhang said: "No one ever said they would bite people. I just wanted to touch it. I was so dizzy from the beer.
