Well That Wasn't in the Plan!

I had to separate one of ANSI's girls from the rest of the group, last night, because she had a bite mark and scab along her quill line and a small abscess on her upper lip (assumablyfrom another bite). I figured that I would move her into another cage so her scab and abscess would heal without anyone picking on her. I checked on her tonight while I was feeding, and her bite mark at the quill line has become swollen and infected. It looks really bad and I am worried about the possibility of a staph infection, so I called my vet and got her started on Clavamox right away. I'm hoping she looks a little better tomorrow.
