The Baby Parade

The baby parade has begun! We have 2 mothers that gave birth this morning; one has 5 babies and the other has 2. I found the first babies when I woke up a 4AM with a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach, so I went down to the hedgehog room to check on the kids. One of the babies was outside of the nest and starting to get chilly, so I warmed him up and popped him back in. I'm guessing that he may have been the first one born and that he was born outside of the hut. He was a few hours old because his quills were starting to become visible. The babies were fine for the rest of the day. All moms and babies stayed together in their nest, so I can only assume that all is going well.
