Happy Dad's Day

to all you fathers out there, human and animal alike (we also recognize those of you who are a little of both).

All the Hedgehog dads here, which really are all of my boys, got a big dishes of meal worms and beetles to celebrate their day. The ladies are jealous. I promised all the moms that they could have mealies and beetles tomorrow; they deserve it since they do all the hard work. The hedgehog males don't take part in raising the kids, just the making of the babies. But we wouldn't have any babies to share with all of you if our males weren't doing their job. So here's to all the hedgie dads here and everywhere.....*raises soda can and drinks*!

I called my dad and wished him a Happy Father's day. The family was together celebrating. I'm 6 hours away, so I didn't get invited. But I did get to talk to everyone on the phone. They were also celebrating my brother, Michael's, belated birthday so got to wish him a Happy Birthday.

Sean, my hubby, was at a car club gathering today, so I think he probably forgot to call his dad. I will have to remind him........

"Hey Sean, call your dad and wish him a Happy Father's Day!"

There, I did my part.

We don't have any kids, so we don't celebrate. The kitties and hedgies never buy us gifts anyway.
