Alison's Golden Gal's Retirement Home

Alison came by today to pick up some of the retired girls and take them to the retirement village at her house. She's got 2 absolutely huge cages that I handed down to her, and some normal size cages for her boys and the girls that don't appreciate group living. The huge cages are about 5' long and 3' wide, so the ladies have more room to run an play then they know what to do with. Now before anyone gets on my case about sending away the girls who can't/ won't/ are too old to breed for me, let me just tell you that Alison is a good friend of mine and I trust her to give the girls excellent care. I know Alison will spend more time with them then I would be able to (since her time isn't divided by babies and buyers) and that they will live out the rest of their lives in comfort and style.

I also had 4 more appointments today. 1 was a pick-up and he had reserved his hedgehog a few weeks ago. The other 3 appointments were first time buyers, so they took a little longer. It was a long day overall and tomorrow we are off to Maine to celebrate Sean's Dad's birthday.
